Brawl Stars is a mobile MOBA action game from Supercell, famous for such hits as Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. This is a fascinating game with dynamic matches in which two teams of three people face off. Despite cartoonish graphics and seemingly primitive mechanics, the game has a huge cybersports potential. In Brawl Stars there are already three dozen heroes, each with unique skills and characteristics, so gamers can come up with an absolutely incredible tactical moves. The new Supercell project, like all the previous ones, has been entrenched in the top downloads of the App Store and Google Play. Have you also wanted to try it, but don’t know where to start? No problem! In this guide we will tell you what you need to do to feel confident in your abilities from the first matches and not to get lost against the background of local professionals.
Use cover
One of the simplest, but effective tips. Location designers kindly prepared for gamers a lot of different shelters that will not only minimize the chance of hitting the stray bullet of your opponent, but also to gain tactical advantage. The game has high grass, that hides your character. He can suddenly attack the enemy or regain his health. However, do not forget that when approaching the bush, where your character is hiding, the enemy can detect him.
For each attack in Brawl Stars, normal or super, you can use two types of aiming – normal and manual. Normal targeting is much easier to learn. The player only presses a button, and the rest is done by the character – pointing at the target and attacking. In manual mode, obviously, you have to do it yourself. What’s the advantage, you ask? Manual targeting is much deadlier due to the fact that the player can choose the desired target, while in the normal mode the character shoots the first enemy he sees. And sometimes you need to get rid of an enemy with low health to get a tactical advantage in combat.
Running with obstacles
In addition to shelters, the location designers left a lot of obstacles on the map. They make it difficult for the enemy to move and also minimize the chance of taking damage. Shoot the barrels, mushrooms, rocks and other shelters can not even every character. So the main advice is to run around the different obstacles while retreating.
Don’t forget about auto-healing
Characters in Brawl Stars will eventually restore their health. A hero named Poco can also help them, he’s a local healer. Don’t forget to leave the battle sometimes (without detriment to the team, of course) to restore your HP a bit and return to the battle with new strength.
Play as tanks.
In some modes, especially “Crystal Capture” and “Capture Reward,” choosing a tank will be very helpful to the team. With a lot of HP he can hold back enemy attacks and make it difficult for them to get to the same crystals. However, keep in mind that going tank to tank is not the best idea. Try to hold back the attacks of the enemy, waiting for help from your teammates, which should straighten out the opponent’s tank.
The developers have prudently left a number of built-in assistants that will help attentive players get an advantage in battle. For example, in the “Crystal Capture” mode, you can find out in advance when the coveted jewel will appear. Shortly before the crystal appears at any point, the well on the map begins to glow.
Not cowardice, but a strategic maneuver
If a team manages to gain 10 crystals in Crystal Capture mode, it is better to stop the battle and return to the revival point. This is not cowardice, but rather a clever strategic maneuver. By retreating, your team will force the enemy to go on the attack and expose their weaknesses. You will be ready to attack and have time to take positions, while the timer will count down the time until the end of the match. Also important is the fact that in the event of your death, your partners will have time to collect the crystals dropped from your hero and save them.
In “Crystal Capture” mode it is important to collect 10 or more gems, no matter who collects them. So pay attention to the partner that has the most crystals. You need to protect him, especially at the end of the round. And sometimes, you’ll have to do so at the cost of your own life. Throw yourself on the enemy attacking your most precious partner, and die the death of the brave (or not, which will be just a wonderful way out of the situation). The important thing is that the team has time to finish the match and give you the victory and the reward.
In any match, try to focus your attention on the enemy’s healer, Poco. He can not only attack but also heal allies, making him a very important hero for any mode. As with any team game, especially MOBAs, the chealers are the most important target.
But it works the other way around as well. If you have a Poco on your team, and someone in your opponent’s squad has also read this guide and now wants to kill him, protect him by any means necessary.
See a safe – hit it with a super attack
In Robbery mode, your task will be to inflict maximum damage on the safe. Sometimes you want to loot with all your might, but this mode is more about smashing the safe as fast as possible and getting away with the loot.
TNT – blow up or don’t blow up
In Robbery mode, the safe is surrounded by a fence, but next to it are crates with the telling name TNT. Even if you haven’t listened to the legendary AC/DC song, you should be able to guess what it means. Yes, it’s dynamite. So when attacking – try to shoot the boxes, that will lead to the explosion of the fence and exposing the safe. When defending – do your best to keep your opponent blowing up crates of TNT for as long as possible.
Go to “Robbery” by mastering the manual firing mode
In “Robbery” the maps are somewhat more open than in the other modes. There will be almost nothing to hide behind, so the professionals advise playing as heroes with long-range weapons. And for such brave fighters it is better to shoot, having mastered the manual mode of shooting. So train well and then the safe will be yours!
Pick up boosters.
In Clash mode, you’ll come across special green squares with lightning bolts. They fall out of fallen enemies or from special crates. These are boosters. They increase some parameters of the character. The more of them you pick up, the stronger your character becomes.
